My 10th grade English teacher is the kind of person you thank during your acceptance speech of a lifetime achievement award. Not only did a project in her class lead to a giant pipe dream of a career choice, but we crossed paths when I was just starting to try and figure out my life & she left a huge impression during that impressionable time.
This bag was a joy to create in part because I knew who the end recipient would be, but also because it was fun to mix and match materials, use a bunch of scraps a re-purpose another project gone wrong.
It's a mix of waxed canvas scrap, an old pair of leather pants, materials that would've otherwise been worm food & a dog collar I failed to measure twice before cutting too short.
