Apple Jacket Upcycled from a Quilt, 3XL

I distinctly remember pulling into the driveway at the end of a long bumpy road. It was a chilly fall day at the tail end of garage sale season and to be honest- the houses where you're not sure if there's a possibility of getting murdered are always the best stops. Grabbed this apple blanket and got the heck outta there before they could smell on my breath that I was just going to go home and cut it all up.

The sleeves were a tablecloth from my local thrift store and the pattern was on theme that day as everything in my arms coordinated quite nicely with the color palette.

My memory is a steel trap when it comes to thrift store finds and I love how these pieces from all different walks of life (and all different locations) can come together like they were made to belong.

Surprise! A couple interior pockets inside because sometimes a purse just doesn't go with the outfit.
